Care Instructions:

Made of natural fibers and grass; do not submerge or wash with water.

If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe the basket clean.

Meaning & Purpose:

These coil-stitched baskets are created by tightly wrapping smooth palm leaves around coils of papyrus stalks by refugee Nubian women of Sudan.
